Samantha's play, The Mountain, made it to the final round of submissions for the Chain Theater's new Playwriting Lab.
Samantha wrote a piece for PUSSYFEST VI. A night of theater which features monologues about the body, custom-written for New York’s finest femme and gender-defying actors.

This year's Pussyfest is a fundraiser for Third Wave Fund (www.thirdwavefund.org). Third Wave Fund is the only activist fund led by and for women of color, intersex, queer, and trans folks under 35 years old in the US.
On January 21st, Samantha will be performing in a staged reading of Stephanie Pierson's new play, Marie Antoinette Sat here at Playwrights Downtown.
Samantha is currently taking improv, sketch, and storytelling classes at The Magnet Theater and enjoying learning about the world of comedy. She is also taking playwriting classes at ESPA and Creative Writing at the Gotham Writers Workshop. In September, she will start training for a degree in Graphic Design at Shillington. In her spare time you can find her embroidering on the subway, hunched over a pottery wheel, or throwing paint around.
